Confidentiality
- I intend to treat all clients and potential clients of all backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, religion, nation of origin, gender, sexuality, or any other characteristic, with positive regard, respect and dignity.
- As a therapeutic art coach I will maintain, store and dispose of any records, whether through electronic communications,in electronic files, created as a result of your coaching relationship in a manner that protects each client’s confidentiality, privacy and security and complies with any applicable agreements and laws.
- I will obtain written permission from any client before using their names in testimonials or references.
- In the event any client displays or discloses intent to harm themselves or others, I am required to report to the authorities.
Coaching Agreement
- Upon being hired I will sign a coaching agreement with all clients prior to the first session. Include the information discussed above as well as financial agreements, expectations for both coach and client, and the termination policy.
- I will refrain from coaching clients under the age of 18 without written consent of a parent or guardian.
- If asked, I will show proof of my Therapeutic Art Coaching certification and/ or Life Coach Certification.
- I will uphold and respect an equitable coach/client relationship, regardless of compensation.
- I will do my best to help my clients overcome their setbacks and assist them in exploring all the options they have to help change their future and get out of being stuck.
- I will adhere to the CORE ethical standard in the industry, which is “first do no harm”.
- In the event any client displays or discloses intent to harm themselves or others, I am required to report to the authorities.
